China's position is consistent with the wishes of most countries

Beijing, March 24 (Reporter Ren Haoyu) When talking about the situation in Ukraine on the 24th, Wang Wenbin, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that China has always been objective and fair on the Ukrainian issue, and its position is consistent with the wishes of most countries. Any groundless accusations and suspicions against China will be defeated.

Wang Wenbin said that accusing China of spreading false information about Uzbekistan is itself spreading false information. In an objective and just attitude, China has always made positive efforts to achieve a ceasefire and an end to war at an early date, avoid humanitarian crises and restore peace and stability.

Wang Wenbin said that we have always advocated that Ukraine should become a bridge between East and West, rather than a frontier in the game of major powers. European countries should adhere to the principle of strategic autonomy, work with relevant countries, including Russia and Ukraine, and build a balanced, effective and sustainable European security architecture through dialogue and negotiation based on the principle of indivisibility of security. The United States and NATO should also engage in dialogue with Russia to solve the crux behind the Ukrainian crisis.

"To resolve the crisis, we need to be calm and rational, not to ignite and pour oil. To restore peace, we need dialogue and communication, not pressure and coercion. To achieve long-term stability, we need to accommodate the legitimate security concerns of all parties, rather than pursuing group confrontation and seeking absolute security," he said.

Wang Wenbin pointed out that China's position is consistent with the aspirations of most countries. "Time will prove that China's position is on the right side of history, and any groundless accusations and suspicions against China will be overcome."
