1、 There are two types of Shanghai licensing lines:

1. Shanghai non business bus line certificate (line in new auction)

2. Certificate for the settlement of motor vehicle quota business (the amount of old vehicles returned from the license plate)

The validity period of the two kinds of limit certificates is one year, and the new one indicates the validity period. The validity period of the old car license is one year from the date of license withdrawal on the license withdrawal form.

It can be used on the license plate within the validity period, and can be entrusted to auction for money within two years after expiration. If it expires for more than two years, it will be automatically invalidated.

2、 Materials required for extension of Shanghai license line:

3、 Specific procedures for extension of Shanghai license line:

The amount that is about to expire will be registered on a second-hand car that is currently a Shanghai license plate. After registration, the vehicle administration office will file the information for about 5 working days, and the license plate will be withdrawn after 5 working days. The amount withdrawn will be recalculated for one year from the date of withdrawal.

The simple understanding is that you bought a second-hand car, increased your Shanghai license limit, and sold the car a few days later, so the whole procedure is reasonable, legal and compliant, and normal second-hand car trading.

Handling period: about 5 working days.

The system prompts that you can query within 10 working days, but the actual update is very slow.
