Data shows that the number of local and non local companies in Hong Kong has reached a record high

China news agency, Hong Kong, May 18 The Financial Affairs and Treasury Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (the Treasury Bureau) said on the 18th that as of April this year, the number of local and non Hong Kong companies in Hong Kong had reached a record high, which shows that Hong Kong is definitely a dynamic, reliable and convenient place to do business.
On the same day, the Treasury Bureau reported on the social platform that as of April this year, there were more than 1.43 million local companies in Hong Kong, a record high. The number of new companies established continued to grow, increasing by about 12000 on a monthly basis, higher than the number of dissolved companies of about 7400, and continued to record a net increase. On the other hand, as of April this year, there were about 15000 non Hong Kong companies, both at a historical high.
The Treasury pointed out that Hong Kong's real GDP grew by 2.7% in the first quarter on an annual basis, and should record further growth in the rest of this year. In the future, Hong Kong will continue to host different grand events and wonderful activities, which I believe will continue to inject impetus into the local economy.
