Introduction
This activity was organized by Software Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences And OpenEuler Community Jointly held Software Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences Nanjing Software Technology Research Institute It is a summer activity for college students, providing an excellent, friendly and open communication platform for college students. It enables students to really devote themselves to the development and maintenance of open source software, get guidance from senior open source software developers, get rich activity bonuses, and help students get the attention of excellent enterprises.

Highlights
Inspired by Google Summer of Code (GSoC), this activity hopes to further promote domestic open source Community development. Compared with GSoC, it has the following characteristics:
1. Support projects with a wider range of difficulties
The project bonus of this activity is divided into twelve thousand Yuan (high difficulty) nine thousand Yuan (medium difficulty) and six thousand Yuan (ordinary difficulty) (Note: the bonus is pre-tax Amount), supporting more projects with different difficulty levels is to meet the different needs of community development, and also to help more students participate in activities.
2. More types of open source projects supported

Participation mode
Students are free to choose projects, communicate with community tutors to achieve plans and write project plans. The selected students will complete the development work as planned under the guidance of the community tutor and contribute the results to the community. The completion degree of students will be assessed by the community, and the organizing committee will pay bonuses to students according to the assessment results.
The community provides a list and description of the project, and arranges a tutor corresponding to the project. The tutor communicates with the applicant about the scheme, and selects one of the applicants to undertake the project. During the three-month development cycle, the tutor guides students to develop corresponding projects.
The community designates a community mentor for each project to work with students to develop appropriate development plans and programs and guide students to complete the development as planned.

Students can join forces through the organizing committee "Kaiyuan Community" Hold a series of lectures on open source culture in the open source community to deeply understand the open source culture and values, and the ways and means of participating in the open source community. The lecture was hosted and delivered by senior open-source contributors, preachers and other celebrities, and broadcast on the live website at a fixed time every week.
