Report Summary
The rise of cultural psychology was deeply influenced by Gilt Hofstede, a Dutch psychologist and management scientist. In recent years, cognitive neuroscience has also carried out a series of studies on the nature of culture, neural mechanism and the relationship between culture and behavior from the perspective of brain science. This lecture will introduce the methods and experimental findings of cultural psychology and brain science research, as well as the resulting new theoretical assumptions about culture, and discuss the impact of culture on self representation and inter group relations, as well as possible applications in other disciplines.
