For us, this is the team that works on internal WordPress sites like WordCamp Central and Make WordPress.team. They’ll either give you some feedback to improve it, or go ahead and commit it.
If you find that your PR isn’t getting a response, it might be because other contributors missed it, are busy, or have higher-priority tasks on hand. If you think your PR is important and worth pushing forward, just go ahead to the#meta-wordcampchannel on Slack and leave a message requesting feedback. People there are usually happy to help take a look when they see the message!
The first step, before spending a lot of time on design or code, publish a proposal tomake/Community P2that describes your idea.
If you can’t create a new post, then go to the#community-teamchannel in Slack and ask for a deputy to give you the Author role. Set a deadlinein the post for the discussion, usually one month after posting the proposal is a good deadline.
Additionally, if your proposal isn’t fully fleshed out and is still in development, consider jotting down your ideas onGitHub Issuesor in Slack to seek preliminary feedback. You might even build a simple Proof of Concept (POC) and submit a Draft PR or a Ready for Review PR for further feedback. Once your idea starts taking shape, you can present your complete proposal on themake/Community P2.
