At the same time, 62 support cadres were selected from the town team to serve as the first secretary of 62 demonstration villages. As of August this year, Zhuhai has launched 1031 assistance projects involving funds of about 544.98 million yuan, including 121 projects to improve the level of poverty alleviation achievements of 11.25 million yuan; 569 projects to improve the level of public infrastructure in towns and villages were implemented, amounting to 300.79 million yuan; 104 projects to improve the public service capacity in the town were implemented, amounting to 70.55 million yuan; 111 projects to improve the development level of rural industries were implemented with 143.84 million yuan; A total of 126 projects worth 18.55 million yuan were implemented to improve the level of Party building and rural revitalization.

Gongguan Town of Maoming City is a national "one village, one product" (tilapia) demonstration village and town, with 30000 mu of freshwater aquaculture ponds, and sits on a national tilapia nursery and breeding base. Almost 200 natural villages have fish ponds and households raise tilapia.
