Operation method
The cause of the brake soft fault is generally that there is air in the brake pipeline, but first check whether the brake fluid is lacking or leaking; Whether the brake pads have been worn to the limit. If there is no problem with the above two points, directly enter the air exhaust procedure: one person repeatedly steps on the brake until the brake pedal becomes hard and stops, and keeps stepping down; The other person opens the exhaust bolt of the wheel cylinder to exhaust. After all the liquid flows out, tighten the exhaust bolt and notify the personnel on the vehicle to continue to step on the brake. Cycle in this way until the air in the wheels on this side is completely discharged, and then exhaust the next wheel. Exhaust all four wheels, and the exhaust is completed.
The brake is heavy. If the brake pedal is as heavy when driving as when the engine stops, it must be a problem with the vacuum booster pump of the brake pedal. Check whether the vacuum pipeline and the vacuum booster pump leak!
If the brake pedal is pressed down but cannot be pressed to the bottom, and the brake is heavy and out of order, it is likely that the oil circuit is blocked and the brake master cylinder is stuck (it is impossible that the wheel cylinder is stuck, because the four wheel cylinders cannot be damaged at the same time), remove the brake master cylinder for inspection.
The cause of the side brake fault is obvious, that is, the brake pipeline of the wheel on this side is blocked, or the brake cylinder leaks oil or is stuck. Oil leakage can be judged intuitively. If the pipeline on this side of the brake pedal does not produce oil, it means that the oil passage is blocked. If the pipeline produces oil, the problem is caused by the brake wheel cylinder.
Unable to return When the brake is depressed, the brake cylinder will not return, which will lead to heavy driving, the same reason as pulling the hand brake. The most common problem is that the wheel cylinder returns too slowly, so it is necessary to polish or replace the brake wheel cylinder guide pin.
