The custom of Hakka people is called Tianturi on the 20th day of the first lunar month every year. On this day, we will use the rice cakes (made of glutinous rice flour) made before the New Year to eat steamed or fried, which is said to be used to mend the sky.
Operation method
Cut glutinous rice cake into thin slices for later use.
Turn up the heat, put some peanut oil in the pot and heat it.
Then put in the cut rice cake.
Put the rice cake on the oil and fry it over low heat.
After cutting one side, clip it with chopsticks and fry the other side in reverse.
Fry it into two golden sides. Put the fried rice cake on the wall of the pot. Note: Excess oil placed on the wall of the pot will stay along, and will not be greasy.
