Take the social security card and ID card to the social security institution in the original insured area to issue the Basic Endowment Insurance Payment Certificate.

I hold my ID card and carry the Certificate of Basic Endowment Insurance Payment. And other materials to apply for continuation of social security at the social security institution of the new employment place. Or submit the materials to the unit for its agent to handle the continuation.

The social security institution of the new employment place will review whether the applicant meets the requirements, which is generally completed within 15 working days. The contact letter will be sent to the social security institution of the original insured place after the review.

After receiving the Contact Letter, the social security institution of the original insured place will clear up whether the applicant's insurance payment is in arrears and handle the transfer of pension insurance fund, terminate the applicant's local insurance relationship, and send the Basic Pension Insurance Relationship Transfer and Connection Information Form to the new insured place. Generally completed within 15 working days

The social security institution of the newly insured area has received the Information Form of Transfer and Continuation of Basic Endowment Insurance Relationship and the transfer fund. Complete relevant procedures within 15 working days. The social security transfer is completed.

The whole process only requires the insured to apply at the social security institutions in both places. Other handover procedures are handed over by social security institutions themselves.

The time consumption of the whole process generally does not exceed 45 working days.

The Basic Endowment Insurance Payment Voucher contains the following information: the starting time of insurance at the insured place; The number of months of actual payment of social insurance; All deposit limits of personal account are insured locally.
