Operation method
The material editor of 3dmax2010 is shown in the figure below, while 3dmax2012 is shown in the figure below. For users to switch between two material editors of different layouts, auto company provides a new version to the old version, as shown in the figure below:
Save and call the material saving and calling methods of 3dmax2012 for the shader of the new material editor. Save material: there is a new version of the material editor on the left called scene material -- click it to find the material you want to save -- right-click, select copy to -- temporary material library -- the editor will add a temporary material library rollout on the left -- right click in front of the temporary material library rollout, and there will be a save as option -- then you can save your material. When calling, click in the position shown in the figure --- at this time, you can transfer the material you saved to use
