If you have a case number that you want to query a case document, you can directly enter the case number in the search box, and then click Search to accurately query the judgment document of the case.
If you don't have a specific case number, you can only query the judgment documents of a certain type, region or trial level case. There are two ways to query. The first is to use the filter bar to filter step by step. For example, if we want to query the judgment of a contract case, we can enter "contract" in the search column, and the system will search more than 3 million documents related to the contract.
Then, you can see the screening conditions on the left, including keywords, causes of action, court level, region and court, year of judgment, trial procedure, document type, case level, etc.
Gradually narrow the scope according to the filtering conditions until you find the verdict you want to query. For example, if we want to query the second instance civil judgment of CECEP (Panzhihua) Clean Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Changshu Heavy Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. on sales contract disputes, we can select the keyword "contract" on the left, the court level "High Court", the region and the court "Sichuan Province", the year of judgment "2019", and the document type "judgment", So we can find the final verdict.
Another method is to search by region first. On the home page of China's judicial documents website, slide down and find the "Court Navigation" section, where you can see a national map. Select the area where the judgment you want to query is located, click on the map, and then all the intermediate courts in the area will appear on the right. Place the mouse on the name of the court, and the grass-roots court subordinate to the intermediate court will appear. Click on the name of the court, You can go to the details page of the basic court and check all legal documents.
Finally, according to the query method of method 1, gradually narrow the query scope until the judgment you want to query is found.
