1. GUANGXI POLYTECHNIC OF CONSTRUCTION, located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which is known as the "Green City of China", is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is the only national public construction college in Guangxi.
2. The school's predecessor was Guangxi Nanning Construction Engineering School founded in 1958.
3. In August 2002, Guangxi Construction Engineering School and Guangxi Construction Staff University merged into Guangxi Construction Vocational and Technical College.
4. According to the official website of the school in January 2021, the school has two campuses, Luowen and Wuming, covering 708 mu and 1220 mu respectively, with a total area of 1928 mu.
5. The school has more than 20000 full-time students and nearly 800 teaching staff.
