    1. Zhang Tingyu (October 29, 1672 to May 19, 1755), with the name of Hengchen and the title of Yanzhai, had the posthumous title of Wenhe, a native of Tongcheng, Anhui Province, a political figure of the Qing Dynasty, and the second son of Zhang Ying, a great scholar.

    2. Zhang Tingyu was an important official of Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty.

    3. In the 39th year of Kangxi's reign (1700), Zhang Tingyu became a scholar in the middle of the imperial court, changed into a commoner and a lucky man, granted self-criticism, entered the Southern Study, and entered the power center.

    4. During the Kangxi period, he served as the left side minister of the Ministry of Punishment and ordered the administration of officials.

During the Yongzheng period, he served as the minister of the Ritual Department, the minister of the Household Department, the minister of the Civil Service Department, the grand bachelor of the Hall of Peace Protection, the minister of military aircraft, etc., served as the prince's teacher, and created and improved the system of the military aircraft department.

    6. Before the death of Emperor Yongzheng, Zhang Tingyu was entrusted as the minister in charge of the Qianlong Emperor, and was allowed to enjoy the Imperial Temple after his death.

    7. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, he continued to be put in an important position, was granted the title of Taibao, and served as the prince's master again.

    8. In his later years, he offended Emperor Qianlong and almost suffered disaster because of many resignations.

    9. In 1755, the 20th year of Qianlong's reign, he died at home in eighty-four, with the posthumous title of "Wenhe".

    10. Emperor Qianlong granted him the right to enjoy the Imperial Temple at the behest of Emperor Yongzheng. Zhang Tingyu was the only Han minister who enjoyed the Imperial Temple in the Qing Dynasty.

    11. Zhang Tingyu, with outstanding talent, participated in the compilation of "A Brief Introduction to Pingding the North of Shuo", "Ming History", "Four Dynasties History", and "Records of Emperor Shizong of the Qing Dynasty".
