1. Jiangxi Ganjiang New Area was approved by the State Council to be established on June 6, 2016. On October 20 of the same year, Ganjiang New Area was officially listed, becoming the second national new area in central China and the 18th national new area in China.
2. The geographical division of Ganjiang New Area includes Qingshanhu District of Nanchang City, Xinjian District, Gongqing City of Jiujiang City, and some areas of Yongxiu County, with a planned area of 465 square kilometers, of which the jurisdiction area of the directly administered area is 162.1 square kilometers, and the rest areas are the overall planning areas.
3. Since the establishment of Ganjiang New Area, it has successively obtained "national brands" such as the National Green Financial Reform and Innovation Pilot Zone, the National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Demonstration Base, and the National Human Resources Service Industrial Park.
4. The growth rate of the main economic indicators of Ganjiang New Area ranks in the "first square" of 19 national new areas, and is becoming a new engine for high-quality leapfrog development of Jiangxi.
