1. Zhengzhou National High tech Industrial Development Zone, referred to as High tech Zone, is located in the northwest of Zhengzhou urban area, with Xiliu Lake in the south, Lianhuo Expressway in the north, and Zhengzhou Southwest Ring Expressway in the west, of which the West Fourth Ring Road passes through the zone.
 2. The High tech Zone is about 12km away from the central railway station and 30km away from Zhengzhou Airport.
 3. With an area of 99 square kilometers and a population of about 350000, it is the core area for Henan Province and Zhengzhou City to develop high-tech industries.
 4. Zhengzhou High tech Zone was approved by the State Council as a national high-tech zone in 1991. It is a national high-tech zone in the capital city of the Central Plains Economic Zone and one of the first four important strategic fulcrums of the innovation system deployed by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
 5. In July 2019, it was awarded the National Model Industrial Park for Harmonious Labor Relations.
