1. Hubei University of Economics and Management is located in Wuchang District, Wuhan City. It is under the direct management of Hubei Provincial Department of Education.
2. Hubei University of Economics and Management was founded in 1984 with the approval of the People's Government of Hubei Province. In 1998, Wuhan University of Metallurgical Safety and Technical Staff of the Ministry of Metallurgy was incorporated into the university with the approval of the People's Government of Hubei Province.
3. In 1999, it was declared by the People's Government of Hubei Province, evaluated and passed by experts sent by the Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Education for the establishment of colleges and universities, and approved by the Ministry of Education to establish Changjiang Vocational College on the basis of Hubei University of Economics and Management.
4. Changjiang Vocational College has been incorporated into the national plan to recruit students and has the qualification to independently issue national diplomas.
