1. Lushunkou District, referred to as Lushun and Lushunkou for short, is a municipal district of Dalian, Liaoning Province. It is located at the southernmost end of the Liaodong Peninsula, bordering the Yellow Sea to the east, the Bohai Sea to the west, the Shandong Peninsula across the sea to the south, and the old urban area of Dalian to the north, 32 kilometers away.
 2. Lushunkou District is 26.1 km from north to south, 31.2 km from east to west, with a total area of 512.15 square kilometers (2013), a coastline of 169.7 km, and a population of 221356 (at the end of 2015).
 3. In 2019, the gross domestic product of Lushunkou District will reach 30.5 billion yuan.
 4. Lushunkou District has national scenic spots, national nature reserves and national forest parks.
 5. There is a world-famous natural ice free port, Lushun Port, which is the sea gate of Beijing and Tianjin and the natural barrier in the northeast.
