1. The National English Competition for College Students (NECCS) is the only national competition to examine college students' comprehensive English ability organized by the College Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee and the College Foreign Language Teaching Research Association.
2. The purpose of this competition is to cooperate with the Ministry of Education in the evaluation of higher education teaching level, implement the spirit of the Ministry of Education on college English teaching reform and examination reform, stimulate the interest of students in learning English, promote the overall improvement of college students' English level, and select and reward college students with excellent English learning achievements.
