Since July 2019, we have been reporting Huawei's next major UI update. In August 2019, we obtained the first beta version of EMUI 10 preview version on P30 Pro. Finally, in November 2019, we began to receive reports on EMUI 10 OTA updates of actual retail equipment in Singapore. However, it seems to be limited to the P30 series, and Huawei has not officially disclosed the promotion scope of its other devices.
Well, Huawei finally confirmed that the complete list of global/international devices that will accept EMUI 10 from this month is P30 Pro, P30, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20, Mate 20 X (4G) and Nova 5T.
Other equipment that will receive EMUI 10 in the coming months include the Porsche Design Mate 20 RS, Mate 20 X (5G), P30 lite，Nova 4e，P20，P20 Pro，Mate 10，Mate 10 Pro，Porsche Design Mate 10， Porsche Design Mate RS, Mate 20 lite, P smart 2019, P smart+2019, P smart Pro, P Smart Z, Nova 4 and Nova Lite 3.
We have tested this on Mate 20 Pro in our office today and managed to get an update. We cannot restore it in November 2019. According to our experience, it is better to start the system update check from Huawei's HiCare application than from the phone's "Settings" menu. It's strange, but it works.
