Given the current economic environment, it seems strange to talk about the most expensive Porsche 911 ever: the limited edition Sport Classic of this iconic sports car is now on sale at 214200 pounds. This number needs to roll in your mouth and slowly enter your brain. A 911 costs more than 200000 pounds.
 However, if anyone knows the value of its cars and the willingness of customers to pay for them, it is Porsche. This brand can charge 114 pounds for the full-color Porsche badge on the alloy, which is not meaningless. Alas, even the 911 Carrera GTS can easily reach 163000 pounds.
 Porsche is very successful in making money. In 2021, the company achieved an operating return rate of 16.0% of 5.3 billion euros (4.5 billion pounds) - a figure that may be affected by the current supply situation - but even before the current silly season of new car prices, the Stuttgart manufacturer has achieved some of the healthiest profit margins in the automotive industry, usually targeting 15%.
 As a result, we have launched a special edition with a value of more than 200000 pounds: 911 Sport Classic. This is the second time that the badge appears, and the first time it appears on the 997 generation 911 in 2010. There are only 250 cars in that version, and this car is one of 1250 in the world. (Obviously, in order to prevent speculators, there is no fixed number for the distribution in Britain. From the lines, it sounds that it has not been sold out. Unlike the last one, it was completely snapped up before anyone drove.)
 It will be interesting to see how sales develop. You would think that Porsche needs to increase the production of this car to prove that all the additional engineering design is reasonable (to be explained in detail later), but the company itself admits that the price of the last Sport Classic (only 250 cars, please remember) softens after launch and just comes back in time.
