    Pendant landscape

This kind of bonsai usually needs to be cultivated for 4-6 years. You can trim the branches and leaves according to your own aesthetic conception. The hanging branches obviously extend to the side of the basin. The pinching shall be carried out in spring every year to promote branches, and the over dense branches shall be thinned and cut properly to ensure that 5~10 branches are hung down as far as possible. When pruning, the branches shall be inclined to one side with emphasis. The hanging type is very simple.

    Single tree bonsai

The branches of ivy are soft and it is difficult to grow upright. It takes time and labor to create a single tree bonsai, which can be completed in 7 to 8 years. Generally, hexagonal or octagonal upright purple sand pots are used. 2-3 year old seedlings are planted in the pots to let ivy grow. When the branches grow to 20~30cm, they should be pinched to promote branching. In short, during the growth period, they should be pinched constantly, leaving thick to remove weak. The pots should be turned over once every 2~3 years. When the plants grow for 5~6 years, they can basically begin to shape.

    Bonsai with wood

Choose a rectangular purple sand basin with a length of 40~50cm, and then choose a dead tree pile with a height of 60~70cm, good posture and color, and plant it on the left side of the basin near the back. The longer dead tree branches extend to the right side of the basin. Plant the 4-6 year old ivy in front of the dead tree stump, wind the branches on the branches of the stump, and carefully maintain them.

    Column attached bonsai

Garlina ivy can be used to make pillared bonsai. High label pots with diameter of 25-35cm and height of 30-40cm can be selected.

Plant a brown column about 1m high in the pot, plant ivy around the column, and tie the ivy branches and buds on the column with silk thread to make it grow.

    Basket Bonsai

Another kind is more beautiful. Choose a solid color flowerpot, plant vines on both sides of the pot, connect the upper part of the pot to a circle around the city, slowly let the ivy grow around the vines, and soon it will form a circle. It is good to trim on time to ensure the beautiful shape.
