1. Xin'an River, formerly known as Jianjiang River, Zhejiang Province, and also known as Huigang, is the upstream segment of the main stream of the Qiantang River system. It originates in Xiuning County, Huizhou (today's Huangshan City), Anhui Province, and flows into the west of Zhejiang Province in the east. After joining with the Lanjiang River from Chun'an to Jiande, it becomes the Tongjiang segment and Fuchun segment of the main stream of the Qiantang River, and flows into the Qiantang River in the northeast. It is the main source of the Qiantang River.
 2. The main stream is 373 kilometers long, and the drainage area is more than 11000 square kilometers.
 3. Xin'an River is rich in water resources, with Fengle and Xin'an River reservoirs in the basin.
 4. Before liberation, its shipping was directly from Tunxi to Hangzhou. After liberation, the reservoir cut off the shipping line, and shipping almost stopped.
 5. Xin'an Jiangsu is famous for its beautiful water.
 6. There are scenic spots along the river, such as Baisha Bridge, Zhuchi, Luofeng Mountain, Thousand Island Lake, Meicheng, Liu Changqing Villa, Twin Towers Lingyun, Xin'anjiang Reservoir, etc.
