1. Electrotechnics refers to the science and technology that studies the objective laws and applications in the electromagnetic field, as well as the two industrial production systems of power production and electrical manufacturing.
2. The development level of electricians is an important symbol to measure the degree of social modernization and a powerful lever to promote social production, scientific and technological development and social civilization.
3. It is also a basic technical course for various non electric majors in engineering colleges and universities.
4. The course content includes: circuit and magnetic circuit theory, electromagnetic measurement, contact control between motor and relay, safe use of electricity, analog electronic circuit, digital circuit, automatic control system, etc.
5. Since 1986, some Chinese colleges and universities have changed the electrotechnics course into three courses, namely, circuit and motor, electronic technology, and circuit and electronic technology, to meet the needs of different majors.
