1. In 2014, the Guizhou Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission was established according to the spirit of the Opinions on the Implementation of the Function Transformation and Institutional Reform of the Provincial People's Government (Qiandangfa [2014] No. 3) issued by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Government, and the Guizhou Provincial Population and Family Planning Commission and the Guizhou Provincial Department of Health were no longer retained.
2. The Department of Health of Guizhou Province was once the component department of Guizhou Provincial Government in charge of the health work of the whole province.
