2. In the Qin and Han Dynasties, the "Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica" recorded that yams were good when they were celebrated in Henan.
3. Jiaozuo, known as Huaiqing Mansion in ancient times, is adjacent to Taihang in the north and the Yellow River in the south. With unique natural conditions, it is famous at home and abroad for the "four major Huai medicines" of yam, rehmannia, chrysanthemum and achyranthes.
4. Huai yam, as the first of the "four Huai drugs", is evaluated by physicians as "warming and tonifying" and "having a flat nature", which is a model of "homology between medicine and food".
5. "Iron stick yam" is a treasure of Huai yam. It is named for its brown and red color, solid powder and feet, thin body and long body, and its shape resembles an iron stick. The main production area is Wenxian County.
