3. The F-117A attack aircraft was developed by Lockheed in the mid-1970s. It was first flown and finalized in 1981, served in 1983, and was first announced in 1988. After serving, it participated in military operations such as the invasion of Panama, the Gulf War, and the Kosovo War. It was completely retired in April 2008.
