1. Shenzhen Metro Line 8, also known as Shenzhen Metro Yantian Line, is the 12th subway line completed and put into operation in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The first phase of the project will be opened and put into operation on October 28, 2020, and its logo color is orange.
2. As of February 2021, Phase I of Shenzhen Metro Line 8 starts from Wutongshan South Station, passes through Luohu District, Yantian District, connects Luohu, Liantang, Shatoujiao, Yantian Port and other areas, and ends at Yantian Road Station, which will be extended to Xiaomeisha in the future.
3. By October 2020, Shenzhen Metro Line 8 has a total length of 12.36 kilometers, with 6 stations, all underground; 6-car A-type trains are used to connect with Shenzhen Metro Line 2.
