    The people's court shall render a judgment of first instance within six months from the date of filing the case.

    If an extension is necessary under special circumstances, it shall be approved by a higher people's court. If an extension is necessary for a higher people's court to hear a case of first instance, it shall be approved by the Supreme People's Court.

    [Legal basis] According to Article 81 of the Administrative Procedure Law, the people's court shall make a judgment of first instance within six months from the date of filing the case.
