 Article 52 of the Copyright Law states that those who commit the following acts of infringement shall, according to the circumstances, bear civil liabilities such as stopping the infringement, eliminating the effects, apologizing and compensating for losses:
 （1） Publishing a work without the permission of the copyright owner;
 （2） Publishing a work created jointly with others as a work created independently without the permission of the co authors;
 （3） Signing one's name on another's work in order to seek personal fame and gain without participating in the creation;
 （4） Distorting or altering another person's work;
 （5） Plagiarizing another person's work;
 （6） Unless otherwise provided for in this Law, a person uses a work by exhibiting or photographing audio-visual works, or by adaptation, translation, annotation, etc. without the permission of the copyright owner;
 （7） Failing to pay remuneration for using a work created by others;
 （8） Leasing the originals or copies of their works or audio and video recordings without the permission of the copyright owners, performers or producers of audio and video recordings of audio-visual works, computer software or audio and video recordings, except as otherwise provided for in this Law;
 （9） Using the format design of the books and periodicals published by the publisher without permission;
 （10） Live broadcast or public transmission of his live performance or recording of his performance without the permission of the performer;
 （11） Other acts of infringement of copyright and rights related to copyright.
