Maternity insurance cannot be reimbursed after leaving the company, but must be paid continuously.
To enjoy maternity related reimbursement, the following conditions must be met:
1. The employer has paid social insurance for employees for a certain period of time;
2. The insurance registration has been handled and the child has been born locally;
3. Other conditions required by the local Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

According to Article 56 of the Social Insurance Law, employees who have any of the following circumstances may enjoy maternity allowances in accordance with national regulations:
(1) Female employees enjoy maternity leave after childbirth;
(2) Enjoy family planning surgery leave;
(3) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.
The maternity allowance shall be calculated and paid according to the average monthly salary of the employees of the employer in the previous year.
