    A person who commits a negligent crime cannot be a civil servant.

    The following personnel shall not be employed as civil servants:

    (1) Having received criminal punishment for a crime;

    (2) Having been dismissed from public office;

    (3) There are other circumstances under which employment as a civil servant is prohibited by law.

    [Legal Basis]

    In Article 24 of the Civil Servant Law of the People's Republic of China, the following persons shall not be employed as civil servants:

    (1) Having received criminal punishment for a crime;

    (2) Having been dismissed from public office;

    (3) There are other circumstances under which employment as a civil servant is prohibited by law.
