In Article 5 of the Price Law, the competent price department under the State Council is responsible for the price work throughout the country. Other relevant departments under the State Council shall be responsible for the relevant price work within their respective duties.
The competent price departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level are responsible for the price work within their own administrative areas. Other relevant departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the relevant price work within the scope of their respective duties.
