There is no time limit for litigation of alimony for divorce by agreement.  1、 Ordinary limitation of action: The limitation of action for the General Principles of the Civil Law to request the people's court to protect civil rights is three years, unless otherwise stipulated by law.
 2、 Short term limitation of action: The limitation of action under Article 136 of the General Principles of the Civil Law is one year:
 （1） Claim for compensation for bodily injury
 （2） Sale of substandard goods without declaration
 （3） Delayed or refused to pay rent
 （4） The deposited property is lost or damaged.
 3、 Maximum limitation of action: Article 137 of the General Principles of the Civil Law: The limitation of action period starts from the time when you know or should know that your rights have been infringed. However, if it has been more than 20 years since the date of infringement, the people's court shall not protect it. Under special circumstances, the people's court may extend the limitation period.
