Marriage, of course, requires a household register. If both men and women meet the legal conditions for marriage, they may jointly go to the marriage registration office of one party's permanent residence with the relevant documents to register their marriage. All certificates and relevant materials must be brought with you when going through marriage registration, including:
(1) My household register and ID card;
(2) A statement provided by the marriage registration authority to prove that I have no spouse, no direct blood relationship with the other party, and no collateral blood relationship within three generations;
(3) Three recent two inch bareheaded group photos of both parties. If the party concerned is unable to issue a household register, he/she can provide the household registration certificate with seal issued by the public security department or the relevant household registration management agency to handle the marriage registration. If the party concerned belongs to a collective household registration, the marriage registration authority may handle the marriage registration by presenting his/her household registration card in the collective household registration book, or the photocopy of the household registration book with the unit seal recording his/her household registration.
