Where this Law provides otherwise, such provisions shall prevail.
According to the relevant judicial interpretation, if a person intentionally harms another person's body, causes serious injury to another person by special cruel means, resulting in the sixth degree disability of the victim, the benchmark punishment is 11 years' imprisonment; For each additional level of disability, the sentence will be increased by one year. The benchmark punishment for intentionally injuring another person's body and causing death is 13 years' imprisonment.
