The right of inheritance enjoyed by the successor in accordance with the direct provisions of the law or the legal will made by the decedent is the right of inheritance.
The loss of the right of inheritance refers to the condition that the heir is willing to cancel the inheritance qualification of the legal heir according to the will of the deceased, or the heir is disqualified by the people's court for violating the law.
Article 7 of the Inheritance Law stipulates that the right of inheritance shall be forfeited if the inheritor commits one of the following acts:
(1) Intentionally killing the decedent;
(2) Killing other heirs in order to compete for the inheritance;
(3) Abandoning a decedent or maltreating a decedent to a serious extent;
(4) Forging, altering or destroying a will, to a serious extent.
