When applying for notarization of renunciation of inheritance right, the notarization application form shall be filled in item by item and the following materials shall be submitted:
 (1) My identity certificate, such as resident identity card, household register, etc.
 (2) Proof of death of the decedent. The waiver of the right of inheritance before the death of the decedent has no practical legal significance.
 (3) Proof of my relationship with the decedent. It can be provided by the unit, street office or township government where it is located, as long as it can prove that it really enjoys the right of inheritance.
 (4) Declaration of waiver of inheritance signed by me.
 According to the regulations, the notary office shall explain his rights and obligations and the legal consequences of his abandonment of inheritance right to the party concerned when handling the abandonment of inheritance notarization, so that the party concerned can have a clear understanding of the nature of his behavior and the impact to be generated. The notary office shall record the above situation in the notary record, which shall be checked and signed by the party concerned.
 Article 25 of the Inheritance Law: If a successor abandons inheritance after the beginning of inheritance, he shall make a waiver before the disposition of the estate. If there is no indication, it shall be deemed as acceptance of inheritance.
