    [Legal Opinion]
The law does not allow this, and paying alimony is a legal obligation.
    [Legal Basis]
    Article 37
After divorce, the other party shall bear part or all of the necessary living and education expenses for the children supported by one party. The amount and duration of the expenses shall be agreed by both parties; If the agreement fails, the people's court shall make a judgment.
The agreement or judgment on the child's living and education expenses shall not prevent the child from making a reasonable request to either of the parents in excess of the amount originally set in the agreement or judgment when necessary
    Article 48
If the people's court refuses to execute the judgments or rulings on alimony, maintenance, alimony, property division, inheritance, visiting children, etc., the people's court shall enforce the execution according to law. Relevant individuals and units shall be responsible for assisting in the implementation.
