Notarization is an activity in which a notary institution, upon the application of a natural person, legal person or other organization, proves the authenticity and legality of civil legal acts, facts of legal significance and documents in accordance with legal procedures.
When the divorce agreement is notarized, both parties must be present in person and cannot entrust others to represent them. The specific procedures are as follows:
1. Review the identity, capacity and intention of the parties.
2. Review the basic information and agreement contents of both parties to divorce:

Ask whether the parties to the divorce are willing to divorce and whether the relationship between husband and wife has really broken down
②
Review the marital status of the parties and whether the minor children have made proper arrangements
③
Publicize laws and ask both parties for their opinions on the disposal of common property
④
Ask both parties for their opinions on the handling of claims and debts
⑤
Ask both parties about their agreement on visitation rights.
3. A notarial certificate of divorce agreement shall be issued.
