The divorce agreement covering housing sales can specify the following contents: 1. Both parties' names, gender, birth date, nationality, native place, work unit, occupation, address, ID card number, marriage time, number of children born, and reasons for divorce. 2. Both parties agree to divorce. An agreement not signed for the purpose of divorce is not a divorce agreement. 3. The specific conditions of the property to be divided, such as area, address, house number, property right certificate, etc. 4. A specific description of the way the marital property is divided, such as which party the property belongs to and how to compensate the other party. If it is not a property, each property needs to be divided in detail.
 5. Time and method of property delivery.
 6. Liability for breach of agreement, amount and time requirements of liquidated damages, and settlement method in case of dispute between both parties.
 7. Signature and seal of both parties, signing date.

 If the couple divorce voluntarily, they shall sign a written divorce agreement and apply for divorce registration in person at the marriage registration office. The divorce agreement shall specify the intention of both parties to divorce voluntarily and the consensus on matters such as child rearing, property and debt handling.
 Article 1078 of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China
 If the marriage registration authority finds out that both parties are indeed willing to divorce, and that they have reached consensus on matters such as child rearing, property and debt handling, it shall register and issue a divorce certificate.
