Family farm is a new type of agricultural business entity that takes family members as the main labor force, engages in large-scale, intensive and commercialized agricultural production and management, and takes agricultural income as the main source of family income. The family farm applying for registration should have a certain scale of land operation, but it needs to be moderate. Generally, small and medium-sized family farms have a business area of 80 mu, 45 mu and 10 mu. Because the resources in different regions of China have their own characteristics, land output rate and labor productivity are different, the scale of family farms also varies greatly. For example, some places stipulate that those engaged in rice, wheat, corn and other grain planting have a land operation scale of more than 100 mu; For those engaged in planting vegetables, fruits, horticultural crops or other crops, the land operation scale is more than 30 mu; For those engaged in aquaculture, the land operation scale is more than 50 mu; For those engaged in the combination of planting and breeding, their land operation scale should reach more than 70% of the lower limit of the above standards.
2、 What are the conditions for registering family farms
1. The applicant's agricultural identity certificate (this page of household registration or other agricultural household registration certificates).
2. Application for establishment registration.
3. The business scale is relatively stable, and the land is relatively concentrated. The land lease term or contract term shall be more than 5 years, and the land operation scale shall meet the planting and breeding requirements specified by the local agricultural department. There are certificates of land and woodland management such as Rural Land Contract Management Certificate, Forest Certificate, and Rural Land Contract Management Right Transfer Contract.
4. Select economic organization mode: self-employed businesses, sole proprietorship enterprises, partnerships, companies and other organizational forms.
