    According to the Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China, the fees paid for patent applications include: 1. application fees, application surcharges, publishing and printing fees; 2、 Substantive examination fee and reexamination fee of patent application for invention; 3、 Patent registration fee, announcement fee, printing fee, application maintenance fee, annual fee; 4、 Fees for changes in bibliographic data, fees for claims of priority, fees for claims for restoration of rights, fees for requests for extension of time limit, and fees for retrieval of utility model patents; 5、 Fee for requesting invalidation, fee for requesting suspension of procedure, fee for requesting compulsory license, fee for requesting adjudication of exploitation fee for compulsory license. The above fees may be paid by the applicant directly to the patent administration department under the State Council or by mail. Where the remittance is made through a post office or a bank, the correct application number or patent number and the name of the fee paid shall be indicated on the remittance slip sent to the administrative department for patent under the State Council.
