When is the Yangchun Xinxing section of Shantou Zhanjiang Expressway open to traffic?
The Yangchun Xinxing section of Shantou Zhanjiang Expressway was completed on September 26, 2018. At 11:28 on September 26, 2018, Xinyang Phase II of Yunnan Zhanjiang Expressway will be officially opened to traffic. At the same time, the whole line of Yunnan Zhanjiang Expressway will be connected. The Xinyang Section of Yunnan Zhanjiang Expressway starts from Qianzhu Town, Xinxing County, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, and connects with the end point of Qingyuan Yunfu Xinxing Section of Shantou Zhanjiang Expressway and ends at Bajia Town, with a total length of about 86 kilometers (excluding 33 kilometers of the same section with Luoyang Expressway). The first phase of Xinyang Section has been completed and opened to traffic at the end of 2017. The second phase of Xinyang is about 43 kilometers long, connecting with the Qingyuan Yunfu emerging section of Shantou Zhanjiang Expressway, and becoming a safe, fast and convenient internal and external transportation channel on the west bank of the Pearl River Delta.
