If there will be archives after divorce, according to Article 15 of the Marriage Registration Regulations, the marriage registration office shall establish marriage registration archives. Article 17 If a marriage certificate or divorce certificate is lost or damaged, the party concerned may apply to the original marriage registration authority or the marriage registration authority in the place where one party's permanent residence is located for a replacement with his household register or identity card.
