Stepchildren have the right of inheritance, provided that there is a foster relationship between stepchildren and stepparents. The rights and obligations between the stepfather or stepmother and the stepchildren who are supported and educated by them are equal to those between parents and children. According to the regulations, the first legal order of succession is spouse, children and parents. The successors in the second order are brothers and sisters, grandparents and maternal grandparents, including children born in marriage, children born out of wedlock, adopted children and step children with dependency relationships.

 The estate shall be inherited in the following order:
 （1） First order: spouse, children, parents;
 （2） The second order: brothers and sisters, grandparents, maternal grandparents.
 After the beginning of succession, the successor in the first order shall inherit, and the successor in the second order shall not inherit; If there is no successor in the first order, the successor in the second order shall inherit.
 The term "children" as used in this Part includes legitimate children, illegitimate children, adopted children and step children who are dependent.
