It is not necessarily disadvantageous for the woman if the man files a divorce suit. Whether it is unfavorable or not depends on the specific conditions for divorce prosecution and whether the husband has relevant evidence. If the man can provide evidence to prove that the relationship between the husband and wife has really broken down and there is no possibility of repair, the court will generally grant divorce. If both men and women can ask for divorce, the relevant departments can mediate or directly file divorce proceedings with the people's court.
