National athlete standards:
Criteria for application of international level athletes: if they meet the performance criteria in the Olympic Games, World Championships, Asian Games, Asian Championships and other international events, they can apply if they meet one of them;
The criteria for applying for the title of sports master: those who have achieved the standard results in world-class competitions; Those who have reached the performance standards in large-scale national competitions such as the National Games, National Championships, National Student Games, National Youth Championships, etc; Apply if one of the two conditions is met;
Criteria for application of first-class athletes and second-class athletes: those who reach the standard in the competition results that can be awarded to athletes or above; Those who have reached the performance standard in the National Sports Traditional School League, the National Children's District Competition, the comprehensive sports meeting or championship or championship sponsored by the provincial (district, city) sports bureau; Application can be made if one of the two conditions is met;
Criteria for application of Level III athletes: those who reach the standard in the competition results that can be awarded to Level II athletes or above; Those who have reached the performance standards in the comprehensive games or tournaments hosted by the municipal (prefecture, state, league) sports administrative department; Apply if one of the two conditions is met;
Criteria for application of junior athletes: young athletes who participate in competitions at or above the provincial, autonomous regional, and municipal level on behalf of cities, special regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government can apply if their scores meet the standards.
Legal basis
The fourth grade title in the Measures for the Administration of Athletes' Technical Grades is divided into: international athletes, athletes, first class athletes, second class athletes, and third class athletes.
