Domestic violence is not a domestic matter, but an illegal act. I hope that every citizen or organization who finds that others are suffering from domestic violence should actively lend a helping hand by calling the police and reminding everyone who is suffering from domestic violence. When you are suffering from domestic violence, you should pay attention to these matters to minimize the harm:
 1、 Keep away from the kitchen, so as not to hurt you with a sharp tool. Get close to the doors and windows and ask neighbors and passers-by for help. Pay attention to protecting important parts of the body such as the head, face, chest, abdomen, etc. and hide in the room with a telephone. If possible, lock the perpetrator outside the door and call 110 at the first time, and save the alarm record
 2、 Timely report to relevant institutions.
 3、 Direct reporting to the public security organ is also an important way to report domestic violence. The anti domestic violence law clearly stipulates that the public security organ should send the police in time after receiving a report of domestic violence, stop domestic violence, investigate and collect evidence according to relevant regulations, and assist the victim to seek medical treatment and identify the injury.
 4、 Apply to the court for a writ of habeas corpus. The anti domestic violence law established the system of personal safety protection order for the first time. If a party applies to a people's court for an order of personal safety protection because of domestic violence or the real danger of domestic violence, the people's court shall accept the application. The people's court shall make a ruling within 72 hours, or within 24 hours in case of emergency. The protection scope of the personal safety protection order may include the applicant and his or her related close relatives. The order of personal safety protection shall be executed by the people's court, and the public security organ, the residents' committee and the villagers' committee shall assist in the execution.
 The third paragraph of Article 43 of the Marriage Law stipulates that "if a lover makes a request for domestic violence or maltreatment of family members, the public security organ shall impose administrative punishment in accordance with the law on public security management punishment".
 Article 15 of the Anti Domestic Violence Law
 After receiving a report of domestic violence, the public security organ shall go to the police in a timely manner to stop domestic violence, investigate and collect evidence in accordance with relevant regulations, and assist the victim to seek medical treatment and identify the injury. If a person without or with limited capacity for civil conduct is seriously injured, threatened with personal safety or left unattended due to domestic violence, the public security organ shall notify and assist the civil affairs department to relocate him to a temporary shelter, relief management institution or welfare institution.
 If the circumstances of domestic violence are relatively minor and no administrative penalty for public security is imposed according to law, the public security organ shall criticize and educate the perpetrator or issue a warning. The warning shall include the identity information of the perpetrator, the fact statement of domestic violence, and the prohibition of the perpetrator to commit domestic violence.
