 The Judicial and Legal Affairs Commission is the functional department of the Party Committee to lead and manage the judicial and political work. Its main task is to guide, coordinate, supervise and inspect the work of the People's Procuratorate, courts, public security organs, judicial administrative organs, national security and other departments at a macro level, and maintain social stability. Due to the limitation of its functional orientation, the Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission is mainly responsible for major events related to peace building, rule of law building and maintaining stability, focusing on grasping the political direction, coordinating all parties as a whole, and urging them to perform their duties in accordance with the law, and focusing on the leadership and overall planning at the macro level. He will not and cannot interfere in the handling of general cases in the Public Security, Procuratorate and Justice Department.
